The Brass Traps albums were produced in Bernard's home studio in Brunswick, Australia. The studio is well equipped for a range of audio production projects, and has been used for theatre and short film production, podcasts, websites, promotional videos, demos as well as the two full-length Brass Traps albums.

The studio features the following equipment:

  • Korg Triton ProX Classic 76 workstation synthesiser
  • Line 6 Helix effects unit and audio interface
  • 16-channel 3-bus Carillon M164X mixing desk
  • Various instruments and amplifiers (including a Roland KC-300 keyboard amplifier)
  • 100Mbps fibre internet to facilitate file transfers and remote collaborations
